The orientation day of fall 2018-2019 was on September 2, 2018 at the pharmacy auditorium. The goal of the orientation day was to help the students to get to know the college, admins, and faculty. The orientation started at 9:30 am and finished at 11:30. One person from each department came to the stage at a specific time to introduce the department and give the students a brief summary about the services that they provide in the department. Ms. Amal Alsenan started the orientation by welcoming the new students and introducing herself. Ms. Amal Alsenan welcomed Dr. Aisha Almana to the stage to greet the students and give a speech. The goal of the speech was to motivate the students to work hard and to give them the strength to achieve their goals. After Dr. Aisha’s speech, Dr. Jenan Almatouq talked for ten minutes about the partnership between MACHS and the University of Oregon and the American University of Beirut. A person from the foundation year department, nursing department, Clinical laboratory department, Registrar, Financial aids, IT department , library , Infirmary , examination committee , quality center, and disciplinary matters came to the stage for 5 to 10 minutes to explain to the students the important points that they should know and the services that they provide in the department. In addition, one of pharmacy students called Abdullah Alzain gave a speech about his positive experiences in the college. At the end of the orientation, the faculty and the students went for a round in the college.
